Leo blessing

This day was one for the books. It was a pretty crazy experience. Let me back up first, my mom and dad came back to see Leo get blessed. My mom bought him the cutest blessing outfit! He looked like a train engineer! It was fun! Also, Travis's dad came to meet him as well. He spent the weekend with us and got to know Leo and was involved in his blessing. The morning of the blessing, we were notified that our church had a gas leak, and that we couldn't have meetings on the inside. So they decided to have church on the lower field where there is a pavilion. It was really fun having church outside. The weather was perfect! It also felt more comfortable. We were all in chairs, gathered around closely. Besides this, the mountains surrounding Globe were on fire. It was a controlled fire, the firemen wanted it to burn, but it was still a huge fire! So it just felt like it was the end of the world a little bit. What is it with Leo and fires? As I was pushing him out during labor, the fire alarms went off, and now the burning mountains. Travis gave a very beautiful blessing, he said that Leo was going to have a calm demeanor and be a huge blessing in our family. He blessed that he would serve a mission and find a worthy girl and marry in the temple. It was very moving. It was a good day. Brayden and Bella were there as well. We had a good dinner and hung out outside a lot, enjoying the beautiful weather... and smoky mountains!
