Leo 2 months

Leo is still alive! He has survived two months of being the baby boy with 3 older adoring sisters! At his two month appointment, he was 24 1/4 inches long (72 percentile), 13 pounds 3 oz (43 percentile) and his head was in the 57 percentile. He is pretty tall and chunky!

This month, Mumu came to meet him. She loved him and of course brought him clothes. We had a great time just hanging out!
This was the first time she met him

We have been giving him tummy time, and he surprisingly likes it, so much that he falls asleep sometimes!

Other times, we will put him on his back on the floor and he will just kick his legs wildly

He is officially out of newborn clothes and into 3 month clothes. Sad.

Sometimes he will scan the room from side to side to check out everything that is going on.

He is a funny boy, because when he gets tired, he doesn't fall asleep, but he also doesn't cry. He sort of just grunts. Its almost like he has to have permission to fall asleep. I will shush and tickle his face, or feed him, then he will fall asleep.

He is  delightful in the mornings now, and a little fussy at night. But not that fussy, he is a very very happy baby. He doesn't really cry unless he is hungry or tired.

He loves to be around people. He is just content you be around everyone.

He is starting to giggle a little bit, and its music to our ears!

He is a man tooter. Serious. He can hang with the best of them!

He sleeps the best when he is next to someone, which I kind of love!

We love him and can't believe its been 2 months already!

Easter 2017

Easter came fast this year.

I'm super happy that I took advantage of the end of Summer sale at Walmart last Fall, because I bought Summer shoes and swimsuits for like a buck and I actually remembered to put it in their baskets!

I really wanted to emphasize the true meaning of Easter. We did a "Holy Week." Each day of Holy Week, we talk about what happened in the Bible the week Christ was resurrected. So Sunday was "Palm Sunday." We did an activity and lesson everyday to teach the real meaning. In the end, I think the kids did learn something, but I also think they were pretty stoked to just stuff their faces with candy, so we will just call it a win!

With having a baby and stuff, I didn't really plan a huge Easter dinner or anything, so we were solo for this holiday. We made the best of it and went up to the Pinal mountains and gave our kids an egg hunt. It was so nice to get out and be in fresh air. Happy Easter!
