Dancing Queen

Brooklyn had her first dance recital! It was so much fun watching her do her thing. Her favorite part was wearing "real, grown up makeup," of course.

My favorite part was when she was dancing and she spotted us in the crowd and stopped and waved and forgot her dance moves. It was so fun!

Paige

Remember our van? You know, our van named Paige? Well something crazy just happened...

She hit her 100,000 mile! Its sort of a big deal... or I need to get a life. You choose.

An end of an era

Brooklyn graduated from her last year of preschool. She will be in full day Kindergarten next year. I'm kind of sad about it. Her teachers this year said that she was a smart girl, that she was very social, but sometimes she could be sneaky in class. She had a great year. Her best friends in class were Anazira, Macy and Grace. Her teachers were Ms. Whitted and Mrs. Carolyn. It was a great year and I will miss it!

Last Day of School

Also, with her being in full day Kindergarten, that means no more story time with Ms. Robyn. She was seriously the best!

And then of course, we had to have a Preschool graduation ceremony. She sang cute songs and then we partied after.

her little buddy is going to miss her when she is at school next year

The big 2!

Happy 2nd birthday Isla! I can't believe she is already two! I feel like she skipped a lot of her babyhood. We will get to that later.

Before her birthday:
We had been practicing singing the Happy Birthday song and blowing out the candles. When we would ask her what she wants on her birthday, she would say, "donuts, cupcakes, ice cream."

On her birthday:

We had a breakfast picnic on the floor with donuts, but she didn't really eat them.

She helped make your birthday cake

We had some friends over for birthday cake and presents

But for some reason, I only took pictures of her? Oh well, I promise they were there.

Hope you had a happy birthday Isla!

You are growing up too fast. I know every mom says that , but you really are. You started walking at 9 months and started speaking in full sentences before you were 2. You climb, run and roll with the best of them. But I guess you are still a baby, because you love your baba's and binkies. We love to snuggle you and squeeze you. We are so happy you are in our family!

Random kids

I love all these pictures, they are just random things we have done for the past couple of months
