There are some perks

I guess there are a couple of perks being married to a doctor? Not having to go the the ER after cutting myself is one. Although I wouldn’t recommend letting the doc push a needle in your body while he is watching his beloved BYU football team getting wailed on by Utah State! He was kind of mean while he was doing it because he was watching his BYU Cougars get killed by Utah State in football. He was also a little bit sexy. Also, I wasn't fully numbed, so I'm pretty cool. Lastly, I recommend investing in a nice can opener that will open up ones cans of beans so this doesn't have to happen!

Amanda and Frank

I'm not a huge pet person. Lets be honest, the mom ends up having to do most of the work. Avery loves loves cats. We have gone through 3 cats since we have lived here.They all run away. Travis is sort of a sucker. One of his patients showed him these tiny and cute cats that they were giving away. He couldn't resist and brought them home. He says he did it because he wanted to make his daughter happy, but secretly, I think he did it because he thought the cats were cute. I guess they are. Everyone was happy. Then we told the kids that we were picking the names, Amanda and Frank. Everybody cried. They hated those names.We were sick of our other cats running away, and obviously the reason that they would run away was because they had fake names like KC, ZZZZ and Meowi.

The fair

Our annual Gila County fair field trip has come again. I went with Isla's class. Per usual, she was excited for ten minutes and then was over it. She liked the cows and the pigs. I'm glad we could be with her friends (and their moms). Avery and Emory entered a dessert treat in the contest and took first place! So yeah, that pretty much sums up the fair again!

Went to the Diamond Backs game with the Jolley's and sat by the grumpiest old men ever! It sort of made the sloppy game very entertaining. Also, my sister and Jon are cray! We love them and this game!

Isla 1st day of school

Today was isla’s first day of preschool! We are going to try this preschool thing out again since she dropped out last year. They must be really pushing these kids because when I picked her up, Isla was dead asleep on the desk and slept for 2 hrs. She is going to be a rocket scientist one day, I just know it!

1st day of nursery

It was this guys first official day of nursery at church! We did it! P.S The nice lady in our ward who is in charge of nursery has let him come to nursery since he was 13 months, so I guess its not as big of a deal now? Oh well, I needed to picture and the documentation that he is legal now for nursery!
