Bella birthday party

We had such a fun time at Bella's birthday party! We went to Chuck E. Cheeses. I hadn't been here for quite awhile, and I'm gonna say this, best birthday party ever!
Kids contained safety. check.
Mom not having to prepare much if not anything at all. check.
Kids being entertained. check.
Yummy food that mom doesn't have to stress over. check.
Birthday kid feeling extremely special. check.
Not having to clean the mess. check.
Having to deal with a creepy person in the Chuck E. Cheese costume. check.

OK, so its not 100% perfect, but it was so much fun for all ages! I'm thinking this is the answer to all birthday parties in the future!

Good times for sure!

Leo 6 months

I got Leo a new carrier and he loves it, I can "wear" him anywhere and he will just chill in there!

The rocking is starting to turn into inch worm crawling. He is getting around slowly, but surely.

He is into everything, very handsy and grabby and curious!

He is starting to like food a little better, he is getting used to it. When he sees the food and spoon, his feet start to kick and he gets all excited! He is into sweet potatoes, bananas, oatmeal, winter squash, carrots, I think he loves carrots the most! The other day, we shared a smoothie. It was a pear, kale, almond butter, apple juice smoothie, and he loved it! He loves drinking from a straw. He doesn't know how to suck things up yet, but I just put it i his mouth, and he slurps it down.

He is getting better at the bottle again. He struggled there for a couple of months, but I can actually leave him and he will eventually have one.

He is still smiling all the time... except for long car rides. He doesn't really like the car! Come on Leo! I guess he can't be perfect though, right.... speaking of not being perfect, he is waking up so much at night! I'm so tired Leo! But I think its because he is finally getting teeth. He got his very first tooth on the bottom. It busted through the skin and its so so cute! More are coming though.  He is finally getting to that stage where he doesn't sleep on the fly as much. I can't tote him around as much because he won't sleep as long as he used to. But he is usually taking 3 naps a day.

I can feel his love when he looks at me. I love it! He is a little mama's boy! And I have manipulated him into saying "mama" now on his babbles. I don't think he knows what I am saying but its better than him saying "dada" all the time! He is also saying "rara."

He is getting so busy and wiggly. I can't even change his diaper without having to hold him down!

He is really starting to love Avery. She takes really good care of him, and he loves going to her!

Here are his 6 month stats:
 27.5 inches long (69 percentile)
17 lbs 8 oz (38 percentile)
Head is 44 cm (56 percentile)
Time is flying by!!!

AMY

It's the best when your Kansas City friend randomly stops by on their way to California for the night. Amy was my running partner. And if anyone knows anything about running partners, it's that you really get to know them! And all of their dirty secrets! Amy and Hyrum showed up wearing the last ring race t-shirt we ran together, I went and found mine, and we chilled on the couch talking all night. They m Ade my week! Also, they have the cutest triplet boys who may or may not have traumatized our chickens!
