Avery's first cavity

I mostly only got video of it because she was high as a kite! She was giggling and laughing at the ceiling. I'm sure glad she learned her lesson about taking care of her teeth, I'm sure she will never eat sugar again!

Minors

Somebody found out that I know this game and I got roped into coaching these turds! At first it was miserable. No one knew anything. They could barely throw. I had to teach them how to pitch, catch, throw people out, and hit. It was overwhelming! But the amazing thing about this age group is, they learn fast! By the end of the year they were sliding, stealing, hitting, and throwing people out. There were only 2 teams in the league, so we played the yellow team twice per week. I wish I could say that I didn't care about winning, and that we all had fun and that was all that mattered, but the athlete inside me wanted to win. Maybe because the yellow team's coach was crazy. She was loud. She yelled at her team and tried to take advantage of the weaknesses of these young girls and capitalize on that. So it sort of made me want to do that to their team. I taught the girls how to slide, and the next game, the yellow team couldn't get us out at home and we killed them. You could see the frustration on the other coach building the whole game. I will say, we had good games and won some and lost some, but in the end, we won the most of the games (not that anyone was keeping track)! I enjoyed coaching these girls. There may have been some bribing but it worked, and they were pushed to do hard things and they did them! Avery was one of the better players. She even pitched a couple of games and did pretty well when she could push down the emotions. She also was a great hitter and fielder. Brooklyn was one of the youngest and smallest on the team. She was so fast and everytime she was on base, she scored. She even slid a couple of times. It was a long season, but so much fun!
