3 Javelinas

We went on a field trip with the rest of the Kindergarten to see a play in Tempe called The Three Javelinas.

I was able to be a volunteer for this trip.

I love how Avery wanted to just hang out with me. She didn't care about any of her other friends. I know one day this won't be the case, so I need to remember this and be grateful!

Avery is one sweet girl.

We had a fun time, minus the hot and stuffy bus ride!

Fossil Creek

We got invited to go to Fossil Creek with the Hanson's and Stoddards. Since kids were invited, we sort of just assumed it was a kid hike. Well, I think our idea of a kid hike might differ than Spencer Hanson's idea of a kid hike. He is hardcore. The hike was about 3.5 miles one way, but its a steep decline down and a steep incline up. We made it down to the river in about 2 hours. It was amazing!!!  The most beautiful water, waterfalls, rope swings, trees, it was amazing!

After a couple of hours of playing around, we had to climb back up. Yikes! It was rough!

But our kids were troopers.

All in all, it was so worth it. I want to go again... maybe kidless next time?

Easter in Globe

We did the whole shebang.

Egg hunt

Easter bunny

 Egg dying

Finding those dyed eggs

Easter morning

Easter dinner with the Jolley's and Chows
Whoops, guess I only got a picture of the dessert :)

My favorite part of the holiday was the fact that General Conference landed on Easter Sunday. I loved listening to the talks of our prophet and apostles.
