Absence makes the heart grow fonder...

Or is it out of sight, out of mind? I think, with our pals the Johnson's, its the first one because we are quite fond of them (cheese ball moment).

Seriously, would you drive 15 hours out of your way to see your good friends? We actually knew they would, so we "secretly," "passively" planted the seed for them to come to us. I mean, they were already in Utah (from Missouri) they might as well just drive a teensy bit further. They totally did it and we were so glad to have them!

It was a short trip. Only 3 days, really 2 full days. On their drive here I started thinking, "hey, wait, what if its different and "we" aren't the same? What if its a little bit awkward?" psshhhhh yeah right. We started right where we left off. There was lots of making fun of each other, yummy food, and lots of pervy jokes, just like the good old days.

We played Puerta Rico. It was magical. I sure miss that life we had only 6 months ago.
And our kids were champs! I was expecting it to be a little bit chaotic and crazy, but it really wasn't.

Avery and Gabbi are long lost sisters.

K Johnson's, that wasn't long enough. Just drive back here, its not that far! JK, I'm thinking after their 20 hour drive home through snow storms it might be awhile till they venture Southwest. Maybe we will make the trek back soon to Missouri!

One day we will be next door neighbors again, right?

We love you guys.

It is so neat when two families consisting of four individuals all feel so good in each others company and get along so well. You are friends forever, whether you live next to one another or not. Is there a Dental practice vacancy in Globe?

I love it! We felt the same way, it was just like old times. Like I told you, I was kinda mad when we got home and your van wasn't parked out front! We will always be tight and it will be awesome when we are neighbors again. Btw, Jack looks like such a lurp in that picture of him! He's going to be like 8 feet tall.
