I would just like to thank Mr. Chuck E. Cheese for making Brooklyn's birthday a dream come true! It really was the best!
To be accurate, we actually celebrated Brooklyn's birthday the day before. We picked her up from school with the best surprise in the car. Jocee, her best friend who lives an hour away was in there, waiting for her. Brooklyn's reaction was priceless. It was pure joy!
I loaded up my van with a bunch of giggly girls and we headed to Mesa, an hour away. We rocked out to "The Greatest Showman" the whole time.
When we got there, we met up with the Jolley cousins and Olive and the party got started! The kids got their tokens, and went to town!
Then, creepy Chucky came out to celebrate and have pizza and cake
And then we opened presents
The best part was when Brooklyn was able to get into the ticket pit. It blew endless tickets for 60 seconds, and she was able to stuff it in her shirt!
It was pretty epic. Then she spent all her tickets on little things like tootsie rolls and plastic rings!
It was such a fun and easy party! This is the way to do it folks, and on a Thursday night when there are no other parties!
This was basically what happened on the ride home
Brooklyn's real birthday was definitely an afterthought after her huge bash the night before. The highlight of it was that Jocee slept over and they woke up and had breakfast in bed together.
After that, we got ready and drove Jocee back to Pima (an hour away) and hung out there for a couple of hours.
These girls were super pooped from the night before, so they slept hard on the drive back to Globe.
That night, we had a little family party. Brooklyn ate her favorite meal which was shrimp with fettucini alfredo. Then we opened presents and had leftover Moana cake!
I sort of just love our low key family birthday dinners!
Brooklyn is the happiest person alive
But can also be the grumpiest person alive
She basically wears her heart on her sleeve, also, she just needs her sleep
She always is up for something fun
She lives in the present and doesn't worry about the future
She loves friends
She loves math
She loves BBQ's
She doesn't like to stick with things very much
She loves to dance her heart out
She loves music
She is a sweet older sister
She loves to fight with Avery
She is a mama's girl
She is a tooter and a belcher
She sometimes turns into Lyn
She is the funnest person to be around, she will chat your ears off and she loves to laugh!
We sure love this girl of ours!
