Its a...

Okay. I apologize profusely for not updating my blog. I do have an excuse though. My mom, dad and sister came to help paint our house so I was not working and very busy; also we still haven't hooked up the Internet. I felt like a pioneer to be without it for so long. I am flattered that people actually are annoyed that I haven't posted yet, he he! So thanks for your threatening comments! So the answer is... ... ... it is a... ... IT! Spud once again was shy. You can't really blame Spud though. Apparently the baby is sitting very deep in my pelvis and they can't get a clear picture. We kind of think it is a girl because you could clearly not see a little wiener, but the doc said there was no conformation on girl parts either. We will just have to wait for next time! Does anyone have tips on how to prepare for the next ultra sound? I have heard of drinking lots of water, drinking carbonation and other stuff, and I will be honest, I haven't really tried. But I am getting desperate! I have no patience!

Well, I'm sorry that you don't know yet. Wouldn't that be funny if you never got to know...until the birth, not by choice but by chance.

I love SPUD already! It is already a control freak and letting you know who the real boss is :) Atleast your child is modest. When I went to have Cannons ultrasounds, all he wanted to show off was his boy parts. They tech would be like "here is his brain, and there is his penis. Here is where his lungs would be, except that is his penis. Now we will check out the kidneys- oooh, there's his penis again" Needless to say, Cannon is still that way :) I think it is probably a she too :) Cannon is on the market, so they could totally date (if you dont mind that Cannon is always showing his goods).

ps- I drank orange juice like 30 minutes before every ultrasound- and Cannon was always doing flips and break dancing in there.

I would have gone crazy! I found out at 16 weeks and not a day later. That is crazy that they can't get a clear view! I was always told to drink a lot and not empty your bladder. Who knows though! Everyone has their own theories :)

Millie- I've gotta tell ya, I've been one of the impatient people so excited to hear what you're having! So this is a huge disappointment!!! But, I will say to drink a sprite to give the little thing a sugar hype. Good luck next time!

We miss getting to see your growing belly at church, but I hope you guys are enjoying your new place! And good luck with the next ultrasound - how frustrating!

Milli- HA! Spud is in trouble with me! I want to know if it's Spud or Spuddette! lol!

This is clearly your child! I love that it's just not going to show you it's parts yet! I'm sick of calling it an "it" so ya better change things up for the next appt. My bet is that it's a spudette.

Seriously!?! That is amazing -- I have never heard of 2 ultrasounds not being able to tell the sex of a baby! I knew you always were a medical anomaly (I have no idea how to spell that!). Well, I drank a Dr. Pepper before my ultrasound and our baby wouldn't hold still -- he was all over the place! And that was almost a problem - he was TOO wiggly. Go figure. Good luck!

What a little stinker !! I guess spud wants to surprise you ! We were talking about you today at the BYU camp and I was wondering if you had found out yet. Good luck next time, when is next time ?

Wow, still not showing it's colors quite yet. That's a little weird. Unless your trying to keep it a secret from us all... can't wait to hear what excuse you'll come up with next. j/k good luck with the next one, hope spud decides to finally open up to you.

Definitely drink juice like 15 minutes before your ultrasound. It gave Amelia a sugar high and she was moving like crazy!!!

I can't believe you still dont know. I would be going crazy! I remember when we were going to our appointment to find out what it was going to be I was so nervous that we wouldn't be able to see... but I had to drink two bottles of water an hour before and I couldn't go pee... It was uncomfortable but worth it when we saw him! You need to post pictures of your cute belly!
