Golden Girl

Whenever Isla felt like she was too little to do something such as feeding herself or swimming without floaties, she would tell me she would do it when she was 4. Well Isla, your time has come! Time to start feeding yourself, and swimming on your own!
Happy birthday to my littlest girl!

We started the day off with our traditional breakfast in bed! If you look closely, it is a face, a scary face, but its a face and she loved it.

Then she took a birthday bubble bath with her barbies.

Since it is her golden birthday, I made a golden cake and we had golden balloons!

She is obsessed with princess Sophia right now, so we got her the dress. I have a feeling this might be our last princess dress purchase. What a legacy we have had in that department!

Isla is our buttercup. We call her our North God because she is so fair but also so dominant!

She rules the roost! One day, she will probably be in charge of something pretty important.

She is the sweetest girl in the world but then can also be pretty sour

She has the amazing ability to fall asleep anywhere. And when she is asleep, she stays asleep. I can drag her anywhere!

Her voice is my favorite. So soft and raspy!

She loves pretending and is super into her barbies

She loves her friends, but also likes to just be home.

She is the classic little sister always trying to tag along with her big sisters.

She isn't afraid to hold her ground with the sisters, and has been known to make them cry at times

She can sound out letters and write her name, she finally figured out the "s."

She loves her family so much and will tell us that often.

She is a snack girl and will constantly ask for snacks

She loves anything beautiful

She will be the first to compliment you when you are having a good hair day or wearing a new outfit

She is always super excited for things and will jump when she gets really excited

She is a mama's girl, but also loves her dada

When I was pregnant with her, we wanted her to be a boy, but I could not imagine life without this brilliant, sweet, spicy, lovely and spirited girl. She is my little sidekick and I love every sweet word that comes out of her mouth (mostly).

Happy Birthday to my Isla Jane!
