I have lived within 10 hours of the Grand Canyon for the majority of my life and I have never been.
Its one of the 7 wonders of the world and I have never been.
People (mostly Asians) come from across the world to see it, and I have never been.
This is until now.
We went with the Hanson's.
We didn't go to see it, we went to hike it.
And hiking is what we got.
We hiked about 16 miles and it took us about 9 hours.
I think next time Travis will choose to be one of those tourists who mostly venture around the rim.
It was hard, but we had a blast!
