When Travis was in medical school, I always thought that it would be so cool to go with him to exotic places where they have medical conferences.
We went to Vegas.
If you think about it, Vegas is probably as exotic as you can get.
Oh and also, we brought our kids.
Fun times!
We actually planned on meeting up with the Washburn's. They lived across the street from us in Kansas City. Jesse and Travis did the conference together during the day, while Kim and I entertained 7 girls ages 8 and under. We went out in public a couple of times, and I seriously think we could have walked around with a bowl and made some serious cash. We got more stares than the statue guy! We had a great time catching up with our old friends.
