Avery is a generation!

Happy birthday to my first baby! She has been alive for a generation! 10 years!

We did our traditional bed and breakfast

and then, of course, sent her bum off to school!

That evening, we had cak, ice cream and presents with the Gordons.

But the best part of Avery's birthday was her party that next weekend. She knew a year in advance that she wanted to have a late-over party at our house.
I stocked up on girly things like hair chalk, makeup, tattoos, jewelry making kits and cat headbands. I bought loads of junk food and pop. I got rid of her younger siblings. Then Travis, TC, Jon and I went and hid in our bedroom. Probably the best party ever!

Avery is growing up! She loves her cowgirl boots, and wears them everywhere!

She is becoming a young lady and has gained a lot of confidence, she knows who she is

She is still obsessed with books and will lock herself away to read

She is still an amazing climber!

For some reason, this is the year that she got really obsessed with cats. She wants cat everything!

 She is obsessed with sugar

She is the best big sister. She always is helpful, that is when she isn't fighting with Brooklyn or Isla! She is basically Leo's second mother!

This girl is very sentimental, she doesn't want to throw anything away. She tapes every little letter she gets to her wall. Her wall is now a shrine!

She is so talented in many areas, but is growing into her own musically. She loves singing and loves playing the piano.

She is so creative. You tell her to go play in the playroom, and she will come out with a creation usually put together with paper and tape!

We are so glad we have Avery. She is so great!
