There is something about a baby's first Christmas that makes the holiday even better!
Leo obviously didn't know what the heck was going on, but I think he could definitely fill the buzz in the air!
Of course, he experienced the wonderful Elf in the shelf!
Also, he got to meet the big man a couple times. He was as happy as a clam allowing this strange man to hold him!
I don't know if these girls were as thrilled about Santa!
I think that the older you get, the creepier Santa gets! Also, Isla told me that she didn't like Santa Claus at all!
I'm pretty sure that when we put up the tree(s), Leo thought we were psycho. If you think about it, thats kind of a weird tradition, huh! But I'm pretty sure he loved the lights and swiping at the ornaments!
Speaking of lights, pretty sure the light parade made his year... or at least mine. I love this little Globe tradition that we do every year! We get Mexican food from Roberto's and sit and watch the light parade and drink hot cocoa!
I'm pretty sure Leo was afraid of Spencer's mustache though!
We did a ton of fun activities and traditions including gingerbread house making, driving around to see the lights while listening the the most annoying cats meowing to Christmas music (thanks Avery), watching Christmas movies, going to our ward "sing" and sipping lots of hot cocoa (even though it doesn't get that cold here)!
Oh, and here is a picture of us. We were at the hospital Christmas party at the casino. We had no luck at the blackjack table. Leo would not approve of this activity!
On Christas Eve, we had a quiet night in with the Bradley family
All the kids got to open up their jammies! And then we partied with food and fun Christmas games!
And then that night, before we all went to bed, Avery and Brooklyn left weird notes for Santa
Christmas morning was super special, mostly Leo loved the box's!
And yeah Leo, we go big on the stockings!
The girls got bikes, and stinking Travis surprised me and actually bought me a new mini van! What? He is the worst at surprising me because I'm such a detective normally, but I guess I was off my game. It was pretty incredible! I don't have any pictures of it, only a video. I was freaking out!
I really love the feeling of Christmas and how families get closer this time of year!
