Easter is always such a good time of year! This year, I really wanted the girls to know the real reason we celebrate Easter. We did Holy Week in our house. So every day we talked about what happened during Holy Week. So the first day was Palm Sunday, so we all made palms and reenacted the seen when Jesus rode in a donkey. We did things like that the whole week. I loved it and I really think the girls learned. I don't know why I didn't take any pictures of that stuff though, and only took pictures of the secular things like bunnies and jelly beans, I need to get with it!
Here are the fun secular Easter things we did:
Easter Egg hunt
Isla didn't really know what was going on. She would find one egg, open it, and spend a half hour trying to open up one candy. Also, Tish brought the confetti eggs. These are the best!
Dying Easter Eggs:
Of course, Dad did his yearly BYU egg
Easter Morning:
So traditionally, the Easter Bunny hides the hard boiled eggs we dye in the backyard. This year, about 6 eggs were missing after they were hidden because we think some animal found them and ate them. Globe is creepy.
Easter Dinner with friends:
It was a good Easter!
