Brooklyn turned 5! What? I swear she was just a curly haired toddler learning how to talk!
We started off the day with her favorite breakfast in bed.
French toast, eggs and hot chocolate. Yum.
We ended the day with another one of her favorites, donut cake and presents.
Then we ended the birthday week with a huge backyard unicorn birthday party
It was a bash and we had a lot of fun... hope she doesn't expect this every year... or even two... I say every 5 years.
Brooklyn, you are our stubborn girl
You are such a girly girl. You love makeup, nail polish and dressing up.
You are a very fast runner. You beat your whole preschool class in the dash around the track.
You love collecting rocks. Sometimes I have to tell you that you can only bring one or two rocks in the car because you usually have a pile!
You are a fun girl. You always tease and flirt and jump on people. Sometimes you don't know when to stop!
You make friends wherever you go
You still love to pretend. You use anything and everything to pretend. It takes you forever to unload the dishwasher because you are using the spoons and the forks for pretend.
You have turned into a good little hiker. We were worried when you were little because you always wanted to be carried, but you can go far nowadays without too much whining.
You are always excited for things. Christmas morning is the best with you!
You add syllables to words. You think the word "ghosts" is pronounced "ghostesess" I don't correct you because its so cute!
You are my picky eater. Yes, you love sugar, but you also love weird healthy things like Quinoa (we call it fung fung), peppers and tomatoes. You don't like eating the main course ever, so maybe you are a vegetarian?
You are a really good big sister to Isla
You love to dance all of the time. You have been rocking to the beat since you were a baby. We put you in dance.
You always want to do crafts
You loved to be snuggled and tickles
You probably cry most mornings while I do your hair, and I threaten you every morning that we are going to cut your hair... but I never would. I love your hair!
You are my one and only sleeping in child. You also fall asleep on long drives in the car.
You don't like to be in a room by yourself. You make Isla come with you to clean your room.
Brooklyn, you are our middle baby. This family would be strange without you.
We love you!!!!
