Trip to see San Diego friends!

Our neighbors from Kansas City live in San Diego now, which is about 7 hours away. So why not go there on a long weekend?

Will is in the Navy, and the first day we were there, we were invited to a picnic, and I will just say, the military knows how to party!

And so does Travis, he barfed his guts out on the one day we decided to get a babysitter and go out to eat. He was ok.

After he recovered, Will and Anie took us on the coolest tour of his boat!

And then we chose the cloudiest day to go to the beach... but it was still fun! The kids sled down the sand hills.

We went on the coolest hike. Everything was beautiful!

We also might just steal one of their babies. Dyer kids are so cute!

Isla tumbling

Isla did her first year of tumbling. She loved it. She learned how to do loads of somersaults and mostly get all her energy out!

 

Isla 5th b-day

We celebrated this little 5 year olds birthday yesterday with friends, a hotel and  a water park. She got a McDonald's bed in breakfast and a day full of fun!

Isla is loving, funny, sweet, demanding, a true leader, and an old soul. There really is no one like her we love our golden-haired girl.
