In Fergie's new song "Big girls don't cry" one lyric is... "And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses its blanket..." well Utah we miss you in that same way. We also miss Erin and John like a... .... ... fat kid misses its donut? I had to post this picture because I just laugh at it everytime. Last year Trav, Erin, John and I had a brilliant idea to go to Moab and bike the famous slick rock. Being as smart as we are; we got there, spent the night in a tent, woke up when we felt like it around 8 am and decided to start our journey. Mind you it is the middle of July, we have the crappiest bikes possible (in fact John rode my dad's bike which had the clip-ins for special shoes and he didn't have the special shoes so just peddled on the tiny nub the whole time), and we start late in the day. Yeah, i'm gonna have to say it was one experience I can be happy with never doing again! After we were hours into trail, had run out of food and water, and were at the point of no return, I cried; literally. I think at one point everyone had their own little meltdown. The cool part about it was that going along the trail we would pass up "professionals" with their awesome, expensive bikes and they would be broken down, yet we had no technical difficulties the whole time. Someone must have been praying for us because we could have died! We miss you Jerin!

What didn't kill us made us stronger
