Fossil Creek

We got invited to go to Fossil Creek with the Hanson's and Stoddards. Since kids were invited, we sort of just assumed it was a kid hike. Well, I think our idea of a kid hike might differ than Spencer Hanson's idea of a kid hike. He is hardcore. The hike was about 3.5 miles one way, but its a steep decline down and a steep incline up. We made it down to the river in about 2 hours. It was amazing!!!  The most beautiful water, waterfalls, rope swings, trees, it was amazing!

After a couple of hours of playing around, we had to climb back up. Yikes! It was rough!

But our kids were troopers.

All in all, it was so worth it. I want to go again... maybe kidless next time?

My favorite part of the holiday was the fact that General Conference landed on Easter Sunday. I loved listening to the talks of our prophet and apostles. 

Pre-season means everything!

We thought it would be fun to go to a preseason baseball game since all the teams come to us. We were thrilled that we could see the Royals play! They were the runners up last year in the world series and we have been cheering for them for the past 7 years, even when they sucked! It was a hot and sweaty day. The kids were wiggly and only wanted candy, but the smell of the grass and the sound of the ball coming off the bat made it so worth it. Oh and the fact that they won helped as well. Its a good omen for whats to come this year!

Arbor-what?

Arboretum. I will probably have to spell check that word. We went to the Arboretum in Superior. I love this place. Its literally an oasis in the desert. We have gone a couple times. It is beautiful and my kids can just run around all day long. Yay!

Spring Break 2015

Another Arizona Spring break has come and gone. We did what we always do, bum it with Sid and Tam at their Scottsdale time share. There was swimming, cousins, food, and sunshine. That is pretty much all you need in my opinion!

Then my dad got really sentimental all of a sudden and wanted to take family pictures

 So that wasn't actually our Spring Break, it was the week before our real Spring Break, so this is what we did during our real time off.

I tried to stay in Globe all Spring Break long, and it was torture! But we tried!

9 years

We did it, We made it to 9 years! So what did we do? We lost 40 bucks at the Apache Gold Casino. Hopefully this doesn't represent our luck for the next 9 years?

100 days of school

Since it was the 100th day of Kindergarten, why not dress up like a hundred year old lady?

Avery the Bawler

Avery played basketball for the second year in a  row. And she even scored a couple of baskets this year. The first time she scored, she was so happy, she jumped higher than I've ever seen her jump. Maybe we should consider track and field?
